YOU CAN SAVE BATTERY WITH NEW EDGE BROWSER
What kind of browser do you use? Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?
Whatever browser you use, Microsoft has launched a new battery saving browser for you. They have improved the Edge browser with a new feature of battery saving.
The company has released a video test of their new browser comparing it with the other browsers such as Firefox, Chrome and Opera. The new Edge browser saves from 17% to 70% of battery life.
Redmond based company has run the test with Chrome, Firefox and Opera other than Edge on the Surface Book. The Chrome has lost first by running for 4 hours 20 minutes. Second to shut down was Opera which ran a little bit more than 5 hours. Since Opera has a new battery saving feature, it stayed for 6 hours 18 minutes. And the winner Edge has lasted for 7 hours 22. In short, the Edge browser has ran 3 hours longer in which you can finish a whole movie, than Chrome browser.
Only Microsoft devices with Microsoft 10 will get the advantage of Edge browser. Nonetheless, the battery life of the device will differ depending on the device itself even though they all have the same Edge browser.
Microsoft says that their new Windows 10 Anniversary Update will also have more power-saving improvements.
