OPERA REJECTS THE RESULT OF MICROSOFT EXPERIMENT

Only a few days back, Microsoft has released their new improved browser, Edge and announced that their browser saves the battery life of the device by 70%. Their new browser works on Microsoft 10. They have put a video comparing new Edge browser with other browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera etc.

According to the test video, new Edge browser keeps the device up for 3 more hours than Google Chrome.

In the video, it is also shown that Opera lasted shorter than Edge. However, Opera now has rejected the result of Microsoft experiment and claimed that their browser lasts longer than Edge. They said, they have done an experiment which would prove their statement.

Opera has used a Lenovo Yoga 500 while Microsoft has used Surface Book. The Lenovo has lasted for 2 hours and 54 minutes with Google Chrome, 3 hours 12 minutes with Microsoft Edge and lasted 3 hours and 55 minutes with Opera browser with no other program running in the foreground.

This means that Opera has lasted 22% longer than Microsoft Edge.

Nonetheless, there is one thing both Microsoft and Opera have agreed upon. That is that Google Chrome is the worst to battery saving.
